Training of trainers
The Training of Trainers Program (TOT) will enable microenterprise development organizations to offer the MAP Curriculum as part of their ongoing services to their microenterprise clients. Participants who attend this course will learn how to teach a highly interactive and robust program that enhances the comfort level of microentrepreneurs in a wide range of business technologies, as well as boost their skills in technology training and experiential learning facilitation needed to deliver the MAP curriculum. The TOT course will both help participants build foundational training skills and provide the necessary guidance for how to deliver the specific content of the HP MAP curriculum to microentrepreneurs.
In order to ensure a quality outcome, the curriculum designers have developed a five days TOT. At the end of the TOT, all the participants receive the materials needed to teach the course, as well as tips and guidelines for how to incorporate the curriculum into their training programs.
In addition, trainers participating in these two events will be eligible to apply for MAP Resource Trainer status and for Master Trainer certificate which will enable them to train other trainers in their country and in Europe-Middle East-Africa.
